Can Xarraca is a spectacular hideaway with breathtaking sea views, lush private gardens and direct access to the beach. The property is situated near the village of Portinax and consists of 2 separate living areas divided by a covered courtyard.

The more recently-build part was designed by the famous Blakstad and consists of the main living room with high beamed ceilings, fireplace and comfortable sofas. French doors open on the terrace overlooking the sea and on the other side to the Moroccan courtyard garden. Double doors at the end of the living room lead to a central hall, the kitchen and the bedrooms. The master suite is located on the first floor, with a four-poster bed and a large private terrace with a fountain and views to the sea and coastal cliffs. There are two more bedrooms, a double and a twin bedroom, located on the ground floor that share a bathroom and have French doors opening to another terrace.

There is a dining area adjoining the kitchen but during the warmer months meals are usually taken outside on the terrace next to the Moroccan garden which is planted with formal box hedges and herbs. There are several other terraces at various spots around the house and gardens.

The second house is a centuries-old finca with beautiful Sabina wood ceilings and many preserved original features. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom, a second kitchen and a small sitting area with a fireplace. Upstairs, there is a double room with a private terrace facing the sea. Next to the main house there is a large lawn dominated by two enormous palm trees and the 10 metre swimming pool, at the far end of which is a large chill-out area with lots of comfortable cushions and a canvas sunshade.

The house is air-conditioned and there is central heating for the cooler months. There is wireless Internet, satellite TV and a high-spec music system.

Access to the property from the coast road is via a remotely-controlled gate and the grounds extend right down to the seashore – it’s about 800 metres walk down to the pebble beach at Cala Xuclar or 1km to the sandy beach at Cala Xarraca. There is a private parking area with space for several vehicles.

There is a main house, which is a traditional building with three bedrooms and a bathroom, and four complete apartments. An attractive pool area with lawn and sun loungers provides an ideal setting for rest and relaxation. In addition to the existing land, there also exists the possibility of buying the neighbouring 8.000m² plot. The existing construction can be extended by 15%, also rendering the purchase a smart investment.

Nestled in the rich pine forests just below Heaven’s Gate, Can Bikini takes design cues from its peaceful rural setting. Spread across four acres of land, the villa, two guest houses and a self-contained casita witness a seamless blend of natural Ibicencan materials and modern architecture.

The home’s main living space is bright and voluminous, with four-metre-high ceilings and expansive glass doors that open to the terraces. There’s a log fire set for Ibiza’s winter months and a reading nook neatly carved into the thick whitewashed walls. The skylit Doca kitchen is as ergonomic as it is stylish, complete with Gaggenau appliances and smooth worktops. Three bedroom suites have pared-back palettes and immaculate glazing which guide reams of light inside. In one of the en suites, find a spherical freestanding bath. Each room enjoys its own private terrace; secluded suntraps fringed with bougainvillea. From the master, bedroom, there’s a distant sea view.

A curved infinity pool is evocative of the home’s hillside plot, its sinuous design harmonising with the subtly undulating landscape. Dotted around the verdant garden, a host of chill-out areas channel a slower pace of living. The pool house is equipped with an outdoor bar, barbecue and pizza oven; elsewhere in the grounds, an outdoor gym, and yoga deck. Come evening, cast your eyes upwards: the starry skies are unparalleled from the home’s northern vantage point.

Enjoying a true sense of privacy, find a Balinese guest cabin down a quiet path. It takes advantage of the idyllic setting with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views of the forest. There’s a spacious feel to the vaulted ceiling, whilst warm timber beams afford a year-round sense of cosiness. Outside, lush bamboo plants frame an alfresco bathroom with a wood-framed tub and grey stone vanity.

Wander down from the main house to a second air-conditioned guest house, with a sand-toned stone façade that mirrors its soft interior hues. A separate self-contained casita – with its own kitchen, bedroom and bathroom – completes this soothing island home.
