Casa Blanca is located on the east coast of Ibiza, 20 kilometers from the airport,
a timeless, elegant villa that is characterized by minimalism, perfection and fine details. Casa Blanca is a successful example of the interplay of architecture and interior design: on the spacious property, living and working are combined in a Mediterranean landscape and create a perfect retreat away from island life.
The basic structure of the property is formed by 4 cubes, which create an atrium-like center through longitudinal and transverse alignment and allow external references to the surrounding nature through the solitary arrangement of the building. The building planned by a Spanish architectural office on a plot of approx. 40,000 sqm was perfectly complemented by the interior design of the Holzrausch planning and the production in the Holzrausch workshops. Cooperation with partner companies in relation to light, sound and media technology complete the project in its entirety.
The concept of the space-creating fixtures takes up the idea of the cubes and zones the respective areas using set volumes. The integration of the individually planned furniture minimizes the amount of loose furniture in the room.
Outwardly perceived as a simple cube, the interior of the architectural furniture shows the typical Holzrausch love for material and detail, as well as for perfect craftsmanship and high functionality. For Casa Blanca, Holzrausch consciously chose warm and dark materials for the interior as a counterpoint to the white cubes of the exterior appearance of the villa, which create a homely atmosphere and subdued light
